Ham & cheese jambons

 1 x 375g ready rolled puff pastry
 100 g mature cheddar
 60 g thickly cut deli ham
 1 egg

Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a large oven tray with baking parchment or reusable silicone baking sheets.

Unroll puff pastry. Using the sharp point of a knife cut the sheet into 8 evenish squares.

Generously add cheese and ham to centre then using a pastry brush. Brush around the cheese and ham with beaten egg. Lift the four corners and pinch together to seal the parcel. Repeat until all 8 are filled and sealed.

Lay them on the lined tray and brush all over with the remaining egg mixture. Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes until golden all over and puffed up.
