The perfect Sunday lunch pudding, this quick and easy apple crumble recipe is so delicious. It is a very adaptable add you can replace the oats with frozen mixed berries if you want to change it up. Serve with ice cream, pouring cream or hot custard.

Heat oven to 200°C/180°C fan. Grease a pie dish, I use a 20cm diameter approx 1.25 litre.
Chope the apple into chunks and add to the greased dish. Sprinkle over the sugar and shake to coat the apples evenly in the sugar. Then set aside while you make the crumble topping.
In a large bowl, mix the flour and the butter by pressing it together between your thumb and the pads of your fingers until it resembles breadcrumbs.
Using a fork mix though the flaked almonds. Top the dish of apples with the crumble and sprinkle over the sugar and bakes for 35 - 40 minutes until golden brown on top and the apples feel very soft when pierced with a knife. Allow to sit on a kitchen counter for 15 - 20 minutes before eating.
